Hi! My name is Tori Shaffer and I am so thankful to be part of our BDS family! I’m so excited to be your child’s 1st grade teacher this year.

 

I am from Winston-Salem but I have lived here in Hendersonville for the last 13 years. I received my Elementary Education certification from Meredith College and I received my Masters from NC State. (Go Wolfpack!) I taught at Hendersonville Elementary for the past 13 years and am excited about my move over to Bruce Drysdale!

I have a husband, Brett. I also have three children. Sarah is 13 and going into 8th grade. Jacob is 11 and going into 6th grade. Ellie is 9 and is going into 5thgrade. We also have a dog named Bogey and a cat named Jeff. I love spending time with my family.
